The DST Centre for Policy Research (DST – CPR) was established at the Indian Institute of Science in 2014 by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Centre has initiated studies on the state of scientific research in Indian academic institutions and R&D labs, and on the global university rank lists issued by various organizations.
